3-STAGE LAB CALIBRATION PROTOCOL
iGC ArkOS build subjected to 2-hour burn-in under sustained GBA, SNES, and PS1 load on the 4.0" display. Thermal governor raised to 85°C. The larger display draws slightly more power than 3.5" panels — burn-in validates thermal stability under this additional load. Units exhibiting crash events, throttle, or display artifacts are rejected. Reflash note: installing a new OS may require re-running display calibration for the 4.0" panel size.
Every button and D-pad direction tested to ≤6ms actuation threshold. Units exceeding 10ms on any input are rejected. Hardware input latency is OS-independent — the physical calibration holds regardless of which Linux build you install on the 4.0" platform.
SanDisk Industrial V30 MicroSD validated via H2testw — zero bad sectors confirmed pre-shipment. 15,000+ game library integrity verified. Reflash note: formatting the card will erase the pre-loaded library. Back up saves before reflashing to a new OS.
EXPERT SPEC ANALYSIS
4.0" HD IPS — 31% more viewing area than R36PRO 3.5". The largest display available in the Linux open-source handheld lineup. GBA and PS1 pixel art is rendered at a viewing size where detail is fully legible without upscaling artifacts. IPS panel sustains color accuracy at ±80° — no viewing angle compromise on a screen this size.
The R36 ULTRA supports all major RK3326 Linux builds. ArkOS pre-installed for immediate play. GarlicOS, JELOS, and MinUI all compatible via standard MicroSD swap. The 4.0" display is natively supported by all four OS builds — no display patching required. Same reflash freedom as the R36PRO, on the bigger screen.
3200mAh battery · 4.0" display draws marginally more power than 3.5" · ~4.5–5 hrs at 60% brightness under PS1 load · iGC ArkOS build reduces background CPU draw ~18% vs stock.
Read: 100MB/s · Write: 60MB/s · 30,000+ P/E cycles · H2testw validated · Zero bad sectors · Reflash-safe: standard MicroSD — user-replaceable.
