Every R36T undergoes a 2-player arcade verification sequence. The device must boot to the game launcher and navigate to the Street Fighter II (SNES Super) ROM without errors. The 2-player local mode is activated: both player 1 and player 2 input mappings are tested — D-pad, A/B/X/Y, L/R, Start, and Select for both players. A 2-player match is initiated in Street Fighter II: iGC tests that both players’ inputs register simultaneously without input conflict or ghosting. The match must reach a completed round (one player KO’d). This confirms the R36T’s 2-player local arcade capability is functional and both input channels are clean.
Wi-Fi and Netplay are verified on every R36T. The device connects to a test Wi-Fi network and a RetroArch Netplay session is initiated for Street Fighter II (SNES). iGC confirms the Netplay handshake completes and a networked match frame is reached.
